Graphic designer and Packaging Design Association’s (PDAA) award-winning graphic designer, Mark Dennison, has won the award for best graphic design in the category of “Product Packaging.”
According to the PDAA’s website, Dennisons work includes packaging for products such as cars, clothing, furniture, and more.
In an exclusive interview with Politico, Denny told the publication, “The beauty of packaging is it’s a little more creative than the other two categories because you can really make it look as if you’re putting it into a container and not in a container at all.
That’s the beauty of it.
If it’s going to be an advertisement or an advertisement with a lot of text, then that’s great, but if it’s just an advertisement, that’s not necessarily a good idea.”
The award is the PDAAA’s sixth annual award and the organization is currently celebrating its 100th year in business.
Dennings infographic also received the PDAs most recent annual award, the PDA’s Professional Visual Arts Award.
